the beauty of plastic wrap

The Masons are such a nice family. Dinner at their house was wonderful. I wrapped up the delicious leftover steak on my plate into plastic wrap. Anyways, after pulling in the driveway home, going in the house, and looking through all the stuff in my hands, the piece of steak was no where to be found.

Searching in my purse and underneath the seat in the car turned out to be frivolous. It was then I saw the piece of steak still on the car trunk, as before getting into the car I set some stuff down on the trunk to get the keys. The plastic wrap must have provided added adherence for the steak, when in normal conditions it would have flown off during 45mph speeds. This spared someone from receiving a flying piece of meat on their windshield.

Well, anyways, the steak went immediately in the fridge.

You know, this was an efficient quick-chill method we never discussed in hospitality food management at school.
